Operation and input can be locked via code or key. Stipulate different levels of authority. System manager

can determine and modify operation code and operation authority.

Interlock output should be switched to predetermined state in order to minimize the influence on the system in case that malfunction occurs.

The index for MTBF (mean time between failures) and MTBR(mean time between repairs) should be advanced.

Online insertion and removal is allowed for various system card

Fault-tolerance or redundant equipment must have the function of online self-diagnostics, clear alarm event and error-free switch. System must have perfect failure diagnosis and self-diagnostics function on system hardware and software. Failure

alarm incident can be recorded automatically, and maintenance personnel can be informed on the incident.

ESD system must be equipped with logic control software, SOE function and other necessary application software. Control software is required to have off-line Logic simulation function.
