The safety barrier and instrument cabinet provided should be mature and reliable, contain advanced technology inside it, have at least 3 application sites and or 5 years application experience.

Be responsible for the integration of barrier and all equipment and material inside instrument cabinet, product provided and configuration is complete and flawless.

Cabinet should be industry equipment with excellent popularity. The cabinet Rittal PS series or equivalent is applied. Single swinging door with axis on the left side is equipped for both front and rear side. The dimension of it is 2100mm(H)x800mm(W)x800mm(D). The color number of it is RAL7035. A document rack sized A3 and made of polystyrene is attached inside the cabinet. Front and back label is attached inside the door. Both inside and outside of the door boast cabinet number.

The cabinet is equipped with shutter, screen and fan. The ventilation fan of the cabinet should be made by foreign company. The inside of the cabinet also should be equipped with illuminating apparatus.

The inlet and outlet for cables is located at the bottom of the cabinet. If needed, the integrator also should provide various wire, cable duct, short circuiter, wire connection terminals and copper earth plate, all of them are needed during integration stage.

The level of protection of the cabinet should be higher than IP20.

The cabinet prepared for safety barrier is equipped with 2 sets of independent 24VDC/20A power supply system, which is used to supply inside equipment with power. DC power supply

should provide terminals for outputting malfunction alarm signal.

The design and layout of safety barrier cabinet should meet requirement of DCS system.

8.2 Requirement on system wiring

a) The terminal strip, on the side of job location, inside both barrier cabinet and terminal cabinet, is defined as wiring dividing line between job location and safety barrier and terminal cabinet(the terminal strip that is used for the connection with equipment on field side must be a special one). Integrator is responsible for design, purchases, installation and debugging of all wiring inside the cabinet (in case of necessity, the supplier and integrator may send personnel to the design organization to receive instruction on layout and wiring design inside the cabinet).

b) In case of necessity, supplier and integrator may present type and shield requirement on the cables used on the site.

c) The symbol on the terminal should be distinct and support each other with symbols

used by adjacent terminals.

9. Installation components: according to normal supply standard, provide whole components that are needed in installation and lifting.
