Electric impulse is reflected, which forms echo return and transmitting device. The distance between the launcher and the surface of medium is proportional to the pulse propagation time. Guided by wire rope, decrement of electrical and magnetic pulse is very small.Foam, dust, steam and shape of vessel have little impact on measurement result.
Sphere of application: it is widely used in petroleum, chemical, power and steel industry for the measurement of material level of both liquid and solid.
